FOODSERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

 

We are searching for an exceptional, well-rounded individual for the position of Sales Representative in our Street Sales Division. The territory coverage for this sales position includes Beaumont and surrounding areas.

 

The candidate will be involved in the entire sales process from prospect to close and the ability to prioritize work assignments, multitask and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, detail-oriented, customer-focused, personable, professional and self-motivated.

 

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

 

·         A preferred candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in Food Service Territorial Sales and/or a minimum of one year experience in management of a chain or independent restaurant.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

* Reports to District Sales Manager

* Generates New Customers

* Creates Custom Product Lists

* Assists in the cost estimation of projects

* Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships

* Meets or exceed sales quota

* Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendation to management

* Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Work independently as well in a strong team environment

* Self-Starter

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to multitask

* Strong oral communication skills

* Sales Experience

* Ability to engage business owners and managers

* Remain current on competition and market conditions.

* Must be proficient with using a computer (PowerSell and Excel a plus)

* Ability to present and close value-focused sales in 1-3 visits

* Fluent in Spanish a plus (but not a requirement)
