Senior Associate
To support the CFO with regards to strategic (re-)financing/MA/ capital markets activities, Cobalt Germany is currently looking for a real estate capital markets experienced Associate – Real Estate Structured Finance and MA (m/f).
Responsibilities:
- Analysing (potential) business plans with regards to strategic refinancing and capital market topics
- Responsibility for restructuring commercial real estate financings
- Provide assistance and portfolio analysis/scenario excel calculations to provide exit-strategies
- Peer group-analysis via comparable companies analysis, comparable transaction analyses (multiples) and DCF calculations
- Responsibility to create and thoroughly evaluate term-sheets
- Reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Direct reporting to CFO
Experience:
- The successful candidate will have at least four years experience within the real estate finance sector either from a leading investment Bank or a commercial real estate finance lender
- Structured real estate finance experience preferred
- Master’s degree in related field preferred (real estate/finance/economics) or equivalent work experience
- A high degree of computer literacy with particular proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills required
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and German required
- Able to work within a dynamic and international environment
- Professional, switched on, hard working, flexible, multitasking
