Senior Associate/Junior VP – Capital Advisor – London recruitment

Position Description:Help deliver credit solutions to clients of the Private Bank in the UK / Nordics markets.Analyse capital structures of clients; advise on appropriateness of structure vis-à-vis client's balance sheet, cash flow.Help develop and market creative, innovative solutions to new client financings or restructurings within acceptable credit/risk parameters.Play lead role in credit approval process:- Supervise credit approval memos/restructure memos- Direct analysis, due diligence, credit presentation- Approve credit transactions within authority- Recommend risk ratings- Recommend and review documentation and pricingAssist in business development and revenue growth by:- Leading the credit marketing effort for the integrated private bank team- Understanding the capital structure of existing clients and prospects and advising strategies/structures to optimise it- Being attentive to identifying new business opportunities/asking for referrals- Originate credit leads from existing clients and prospects and participate in new marketing initiatives with the Integrated TeamBalance objectives of client, new business generation and risk managementServe as primary contact on credit portfolioDemonstrate credit/risk management discipline:- Monitor portfolio risk- Change debt structure/risk ratings in response to changes in risk- Proactively work to improve portfolio quality and prevent loss

Qualifications
Fluency in English essential, other languages welcomeDegree in finance or related field essentialKnowledge of credit and derivatives transactionsLeadership and business ownership skillsBusiness development and overall marketing skillsStrong analytical skills, including financial analysisAbility to identify and analyse credit opportunities and associated credit risksFamiliarity with credit documentationAbility to maintain a balance between marketing and credit risk rolesAbility to interact with clients
