Position Description
Senior Business Analyst
Vaco has a client that is seeking a senior business analyst that has a strong background writing BRD's and can write solid business requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for determining and documenting the business, data and functional requirements to Support the Authentication and Access Management tool (RSA). Will collaborate with business, risk personnel and a requirements gathering team to determine and analyze the information needs and functional requirements and document these requirements in business requirements/ functional specification documentation.
Specifically, you will:
* Requirements Gathering
* Functional specification documentation
* IT / Business relationships
* Translate business needs into system/application requirements to help determine solutions to business problems.
* Create business process flows, manage changes and provide subject matter expertise for requirements gathering process.
* Identify and recommend process improvements as necessary.
* Mentor and provide guidance to requirement analysts.
* Coordinate across a matrix organization to ensure adequate coverage of key deliverables
* Relay information to the technology team in easily understood terms for both technology and business * Liaise with the business, development team and technology on an ongoing basis.
* Evaluate data gathered from multiple servicing and other source systems reconcile differences, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to understand, and distinguish optional user requests from what is required.
* Conduct user acceptance testing as it relates to the technology solutions.
* Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
* Will form part of a project team and will be expected to interact with the team on a daily basis. * Will report to a manager in the business line.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
*3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in the Banking industry.
*Prior experience as a Business Analyst on large implementation projects writing BRD's
*Must have solid organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment and meet deadlines with quality results Administrative/Technical Skills
*The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing, business requirement proposals, client interaction, and methodology documentation.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail is highly desired.
*The candidate must be able to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve problems quickly.
