Senior Compensation Consultant, Asia Pacific Region recruitment
The Senior Compensation Consultant, Asia Pacific region, is responsible for the design, development and implementation of compensation solutions (salary, short term incentive, direct drive programs, and commissioned programs) that support and align with the strategies, related practices and programs for the respective Business Partners. This position is responsible for providing Business Partner executives and senior management with expert advice on all aspects of compensation programs, policies, initiatives and solutions, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the financial and human capital impact of their HR decisions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops compensation strategies and frameworks that support business lines’ goals and objectives, and is responsible for the advancement of compensation solutions (salary, incentive, direct drive, and commissioned programs).
• Design base salary, incentive, and commission programs that drive revenue generation ensuring programs are motivational, financially viable and generate the highest return on investment
• Develops and works with Business Partners and the HR Advisor team to drive compensation solutions that support major business change initiatives (mergers, divestitures, re?alignment of roles, etc.)
• Provide integration and alignment of compensation programs with Business Partner’s compensation programs and policies, providing HR Advisors with advice, counsel and guidance on how to address the compensation discrepancies
• Design and integrate compensation communication, ensuring HR Partners, People Managers and employees receive timely and easy to understand information on their compensation programs / changes to compensation programs
• Manages the cost effective research, collection, modeling and analysis of compensation data, providing Business Partners with meaningful and actionable information and recommendations to help them more effectively manage their compensation spend and increase employee engagement
• Provide expert advice, counsel and direction to Business Partners supporting the business in its achievement of both its short and long term strategic objectives
• Manage business partner relationship, conduct root cause analysis, negotiate and find win / win solutions particularly when business executive / senior management preferred solution is a compensation “fix” to a non?compensation related HR issue
• Proactively leverage external networks to provide RBC with competitive intelligence, keeping abreast of market trends that could impact RBC compensation / benefit programs and developing the compensation solutions required to mitigate any loss / attraction of resources to achieve business objectives
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness through continuous process improvement, automation and streamlining
