Senior Compliance Manager – Global Bank
My client is a Global financial services firm and seeks a Senior Compliance Manager.
Focus of this role will be to work closely with the Private Banking and Treasury arm of the group to create and maintain a compliance culture within the group. The aim is to provide long-term commercial benefits that flow from running the business ethically and not just for regulatory benefits.
Your duties will include:
- Working closely with the Head of Compliance to create and maintain a compliance culture within the Bank by designing and implementing training programmes as well as training
- Design and implement compliance controls to manage conduct risks and carry out monitoring reviews to test the systems and controls
- Partner with the different business to identify conduct risks and ensure the business is adhering with current and emerging conduct risks.
- Assist the Head of Compliance in delivering reports to the Board and Management committees
- Liaise with FCA and other regulatory stakeholders as well as manage the regulatory requirements under the Approved Persons Regime.
- Ensure all financial promotions meet the FCA requirements.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- University degree or equivalent
- Experience of working in a regulatory background (Minimum 3 years) within the Financial Services
- Demonstrate good project management experience and/or driving policies, procedures or initiatives across a department or organisation.
- Managerial experience is a strong desire but not a must.
- Proactive and energetic individual
- Team player
