Senior Data Centre Facilities Engineer
Location: Brisbane
Package: Negotiable, above market rates
My client seeks an experienced Data Centre Facilities Engineer / Technician / Operator, who can help oversee the operations of a state of the art facility in Brisbane. My client is an independently owned company who have a nationwide presence, and are undergoing a period of sustained growth.
As the successful applicant for this position, you will take responsibility for all movements on the site, and ensuring the safe running of the data centre, whilst helping to maintain a 100% uptime record. You will be mechanically or electrically qualified, and have a strong understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems which operate in a data centre.
Key requirements for this role include:
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a data centre environment
- Strong understanding of N+1 redundancy within a data centre
- Good knowledge of power and cooling requirements in the data centre
- Customer facing skills
