The organization is seeking a dynamic leader to drive the global organization and maximize all value from the portfolio of indirect category spend areas. The Senior Director, Procurement Professional Services (GA) will manage resources within the Global Procurement organization to ensure key stake holders have the ability to deliver sustainable results. The Senior Director, Procurement Professional Services will be responsible for the overall development, engagement and operational success of the global strategic sourcing team within GA. Reporting to the CPO the Sr Director, Procurement Professional Services will be tasked with becoming a catalyst and leader for change within the company.
Selected responsibilities:
Align local Procurement policies with Group standards, while driving purchasing simplification and standardization - focusing on up front involvement and taking non-value added work out of the process
Develop end-to-end GA Category Strategies, mapping out the current landscape and designing strategy to better engage internal leaders
Enable business to get the best out of its suppliers by strengthening global partnerships
Integrate new sites and countries, as needed.
Work closely with Country CFOs to drive and fully implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the Procurement structure, process, and contribution
Who we're looking for
This role requires an individual with considerable experience and technical skills to lead global category procurement.
Bachelor's degree required at a minimum, master's degree preferred; in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field. Strong preference for CPSM or similar professional qualification.
10+ years of Procurement experience. Significant experience leading and developing teams within a matrix organization and across geographies and cultures.
Solid experience in change and category management.
Experience in indirect categories including Marketing, IT, professional services, and GA.
