Senior Employee Relations Consultant recruitment
Deliver HR solutions in partnership with Centres of Expertise, Shared Services, internal and external providers, which support business goals in a complex and challenging environment.
Lead segment employee relations strategies and deliver effective operational support to line managers in terms of coaching and performance management. Ensure compliance with and alignment to Company standards and local legislative requirements across the EMEA region, taking account of the many variances in language, culture and market practice.
Success in the post requires the post holder to exert a dynamic influence over stakeholders.
Skills
· Relevant degree and Masters Qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
· Strong business and financial acumen and ability to translate business strategy to HR strategy.
· Knowledge and experience of Financial Services, Rating Services and the relevant UK and European regulatory environments.
· A relationship builder, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and possessing excellent communication skills.
· Project management and consulting skills underpinned by high intellect and sound judgment, demonstrated through getting results.
· The ability to leverage established networks to support the expansion of other business areas, i.e. Information and Media (Example: Platts sales team in Moscow now located with SP team and able to share infrastructure and support services).
· EMEA is at the heart of global financial innovation. Able to work with Senior Leadership team in order to capitalize on these developments.
· Strong internal consultancy skills, credibility at senior management level, built on knowledge base, trust and experience.
· Work alongside European Regulatory Affairs group to understand legislative developments within the European Union and to address the business implications accordingly.
· Extensive hands on experience of generalist HR at a senior level, plus a proven and demonstrable track record of success, ideally within the financial service environment.
· Possess a sound knowledge of employment law, policy development, talent and resourcing and be able to articulate these clearly and concisely to non-HR staff in a credible way.
· Ability to identify issues within the business and work to develop practical solutions to resolve them, in partnership with the business.
· Ability to manage own workload ensuring all deadlines are met within timescales set and work with the HR team to help others meet their deadlines.
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral communication, and the ability to connect and communicate with people at all levels and across different geographies.
· Demonstrate ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately, with the ability to exercise discretion as appropriate and to remain sensitive to individual situations that occur at all times.
