Senior IPV Product Controller – SVP / Director Level recruitment

Glenhill Group is recruiting on behalf of a top-tier bank that is expanding throughout the region. We are looking for a senior level candidate with knowledge of independent price testing (IPV) and valuation principles, candidates should have at least 7 years’ experience in a relevant role such as product control, valuations control, risk management etc.  Applicants should have a strong numerate academic background along with excellent communication skills as the role will require developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders in market risk, finance and front office trading teams.  

The successful candidate will be accountable for some of the following areas:

• Running Projects and working closely with regional counterparts, peers and stakeholders.

• Ensuring of accurate and timely execution of IPV processes and reporting results.

• Assessing new IPV requirements and drive processes to implement including documentation.

• Assess IPV results whilst applying knowledge of products and markets and present analysis.

• Engagement of technical resources and vendors internally and externally to collaborate and deliver best outcomes.

• Assess quality of independent market data sources used for IPV; and engage with external providers where needed.

We are looking for senior candidates who can take on responsibility for ensuring robust and efficient processes and governance of the Independent Price Verification that is conducted within product control under the market finance valuation framework.  Candidates will need to have a broad scope of product knowledge ideally in Rates and FX/MM along with excellent interpersonal skills and project management abilities as well as a numerate background.
