Senior Manager, IT Application Support

As the Senior Manager of Application Support, you will report into the Head of Information Services (IT department ), Custom Solutions, and lead a team of around eighteen staff. The key services that the team delivers are prioritisation and execution of support requests and small enhancements, and a continual focus on root cause remediation to remove systemic support requests. As well as leading and supporting the team to deliver work that is of a high technical standard, this role will be a critical influence in increasing the team's focus on delivering an outstanding level of customer service. That is, not just solving your customers' technical issues and improving the team's efficiency levels, but really causing the team to focus on how they interact with customers and building long term, positive relationships across the Custom Solutions business, including the areas of Operations, Product, Finance, Risk Management and Compliance, as well as other areas of the IS team. A passion for service is essential for this role.

We are looking for Applicants with a background in Application Support, who are used to managing a high volume of requests and issues. You will have experience with large in-house applications, and experience in financial services would be ideal. As this role is a senior position, you will have managed teams and be able to display strong leadership traits. As afore mentioned, a strong focus on customer service and stakeholder management is key, as is the ability to instil this in your team and how they interact with their customers every day.
