SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - Asset Manager - UK, US, EMEA RANGE
 

Senior Product Development Manager - EMEA Product House, London (City) - 75k to 90k Base.  Second to Director.  Please get in touch today if you're interested.  

It is essential that the successful candidate is able to articulate his/her views on strategies / products that are credible and he/she should feel comfortable in ‘championing’ new product ideas where there is a demonstrated demand.  Equally he/she should feel comfortable in ‘pushing back’ where proposed products / ideas are unlikely to generate broad investor interest.

This is a ‘hands-on’ role that will suit a high-impact, versatile individual looking to join a fast-paced environment within a leading asset management company and who is looking to gain more responsibility and exposure to senior management. 

 
Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development and implementation of new products from the initial research / business case through to launch

• Participate in business development initiatives, creating proposals and presenting findings to senior management

• Analyse the market and competitor landscape to identify general investment trends / themes and product flows

• Monitoring the existing product range to ensure it remains competitive (fund performance, fees, positioning)

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes as they impact products

• Integrate and implement strategic initiatives across the business

• Pricing / market sizing analyses for specific product launches

• Conduct specific competitor comparison and analysis for Sales Marketing

Requirements =

• Experience in a product development or product management role within an asset management firm

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and working knowledge of third party databases

• Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to coordinate virtual teams of people across a range of departments

• Detail-orientated and focused on accuracy

• Highly organised with ability to multi-task

• Excellent project management, time management and planning skills

• Broad knowledge across asset classes (equities, fixed income alternatives) and products (mainly UCITS, closed-ended funds)
