Senior Programme Manager – Change – Retail Banking
My client is one of the leading financial institutions in the UK, offering retail, commercial and private banking services to millions of customers. Due to a combination of regulatory initiatives and market changes, the organisation have initiated a huge programme of change across their retail and corporate payments platforms. This will allow for greater efficiency across their payments portfolio and ensure the firm is on track to meet various regulatory initiatives including SEPA, Faster Payments and other Payments Council backed schemes, particularly around digital / consumer to consumer (C2C).
The programme team require a highly experienced Programme Manager with extensive delivery experience within the retail banking space. Scale and complexity are the main challenges faced, as well as the management of a diverse range of senior stakeholders, including significant interface to the IT partners. Payments experience, be it around BACS, SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA, gained working with one of the main high street banks would be preferred.
Budgets will be between £20-30million with project resources of circa 100 people, made up of both FTEs and offshore third parties.
