Senior Relationship Manager
Key Accountabilities
- To meet, and strive to exceed, individual performance targets
- Provide meaningful contribution to departmental and branch results
- To introduce new corporate clientele, and further develop existing client relationships, in accordance with branch strategy and risk parameters
- To build and maintain good market relationships to enhance deal flow
Job Duties responsibilities
NEW BUSINESS
- Identify and proactively develop new, profitable business in line with the IBG and departmental strategy for UK and other European corporates
- Undertake research and financial analysis of target clients
- Undertake country/industry studies as required
- Maintain regular contact with existing and target clients
- Develop and structure creative credit solutions for existing and target clients
- Market all bank products and/or services, with assistance of product specialists where required
- Pursue cross-selling opportunities for bank group in other markets
- Prepare credit applications/facility offer letters/review documentation (in liaison with external lawyers if required)
- Liaise with other banks to gain new business opportunities in both primary and secondary markets
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Ensure all relationships are managed effectively and efficiently
- Act as key contact point for allocated client relationships, internally and externally
- Ensure active account management is maintained, including structuring of creative credit solutions for clients
- Ensure a high level of customer care and delivery at all times
- Ensure queries/problems are resolved promptly and efficiently
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Ensure compliance with internal and external (FCA, PRA,etc) regulations and procedures
- Ensure all new business is line with Branch risk strategy
- Ensure that current relationships are fully exploited and creatively managed whilst maintaining acceptable credit risk
- Process credit applications and reviews as required
- Liaise with other bank departments to complete facility formalities on a timely basis
- Conduct periodic reviews in accordance with internal guidelines and ensure ongoing monitoring of credit quality
OTHER
- Ensure individual performance targets are agreed, met and exceeded
- Ensure product and market knowledge is kept current

Required Experience
5-7 years Corporate Marketing with International Banking, preferrably in the Chemicals sector.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
Degree and Professional Qualification required.
