Hays Healthcare is very pleased to be working alongside an NHS orthopaedics centre in Epsom, Surrey, in search of an experienced Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse/ ODP. The facility has been tipped as the biggest joint replacement service in the UK and possibly even Europe. The sight is modern and set in the picturesque market town of Epsom, Surrey. It is easily commutable via train from London Waterloo, London Victoria, Sutton, West Croydon and Dorking.
Our client is looking for a hands- on Theatre Nurse or ODP with experience in various elective orthopaedic procedures. A keen attitude towards self- improvement is imperative, as you will be developing both yours and your teams practice. In this role you will assist in clinical leadership, advice and support for junior staff members,as well as ensuring the safety, well- being and comfort of patients. The position will entail various duties surrounding professional leadership, hands on clinical practice, education and training and research.

The ideal candidate will be NMC or HPC registered, possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an elective orthopaedic setting, have management and leadership experience and experience of Clinical Governance and Audit .
