Hays Healthcare is proud to be representing one of the UKs leading providers of Cosmetic Surgery. We are looking for a confident and keen Senior Ward Nurse to join their 40 person team in the Fitzrovia District, West London.
The clinic has four floors and boasts an impressive 16 bedrooms, 13 consultation rooms and 2 surgical operating theatres. As the flagship facility for the organisation, you can expect to be working alongside real experts. This is an environment where any medical professional will flourish.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to become a valuable component within a multi-disciplinary team. Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth- running of the practice, monitoring unregistered staff and advising junior staff wherever needed. The ideal candidate will be a confident professional with a communicative manner, developing and maintaining strong relationships with both colleagues and service users.
You will have an up to date level of knowledge in an acute medicine or surgery setting and be familiar with post- surgical care procedures. Your broad level of knowledge will enable you to use initiative within the post and to develop and evaluate patient care- plans effectively. Working within such a reputable organisation means that a level of pride in your position is imperative, and you will work alongside senior staff members to develop practice throughout your employment.
You will be NMC Registered and fully conversant will the NMC Code of Conduct, possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a surgical setting and with post- surgical care, possess previous experience in an acute hospital setting and have the legal right to work in the UK. Cosmetic experience is not essential but is desirable.
