Group Legal, Compliance Secretariat is committed to embedding the highest standards of compliance and best practices in our various areas of practices to ensure overall effectiveness in the excellent delivery of legal, compliance and governance services to internal customers and stakeholders. We provide leadership oversight and advisory for the establishment of a strong compliance and risk culture for our internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and execute an information, data and technology strategy to support the planning and direction of Financial Crime Security Services (“FCSS”) across the region
- Collaborate with the FCSS leadership and teams, peers, information partners, risk communities, business units and customers in providing an effective strategic services program
- Provide operational analysis to identify emerging typologies or ‘methods of activity’ and share insights with FCSS teams, customers and other stakeholders to support understanding of emerging vulnerabilities
- Provide strategic analysis for future implications including potential vulnerabilities and financial crime and security risks within financial products, services and assets generally
- Identify, analyse and interpret the information required to track performance of FCSS’s services
- Participate in business and project forums, and conduct and interpret research on emerging security trends to support the FCSS program
- Develop and implement a program office to receive, respond and track FCSS’s collective input to projects, reports and other initiatives, ensuring relevant and valued insights
- Develop and implement processes to facilitate the review and maintenance of FCSS owned frameworks, policies and standards, and assurance oversight
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated work experience in fraud or security related fields
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in financial services, consulting or like industries
- Experience in establishing/leading a data, technology or information business
- Demonstrated strategic mindset to define directions for the team and get resources aligned
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with other teams
- Communication skills with ability to clearly and diplomatically articulate issues, solutions and rationales
- High degree of judgment and good problem solving skills
- Results-oriented to ensure sound implementation of control and compliance processes/procedures
