The Small Business Specialist role is based in the retail branch network, and proactively works with small business customers to identify their banking requirements and cross sell products which meet their needs. The role is essentially a holistic banking solution provider, which includes lending, deposit, transactional and insurance. You will generate new small business clients, foster business relationships and identify cross sell opportunities through developing a strong local referral network. You will share product knowledge, and coach colleagues to better identify potential new small business opportunities.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Demonstrated sales background with some understanding of business lending
- Focus on providing clients with exceptional service
- Experience in a banking and finance role is ideal, although exposure to other B2B sales would also be highly regarded as would experience running your own business
- Similar work experience as personal bankers or senior personal bankers will be considered
