Role : Sr. Ruby on Rails Developer
Location : Silver Spring, MD
Duration : Fulltime/ Contract - Hire

Position Requirements
· 5+ years in the web development space
· Project experience with git and Ruby on Rails =3
· Highly proficient in Ruby
· Strong understanding of, and experience in, supporting business requirements and technical specifications.
· Comfortable assembling and maintaining a full application stack on a unix-like platform
· Demonstrated ability to find bugs and work directly with other engineers on resolution.
· Understanding of modern software architecture and quality methodologies.
· Experience with Java, Sinatra, Postgres db
· Thinks in objects
· Thinks in regular expressions
· Loves committing code to version control more times in a day than there are hours
· Large datasets get them excited
· Is able to articulate strategies on how they learn and stay productive
· Thinks writing tests = writing code
· Appreciates collaboration and working in pairs or more
· Is motivated by the desire to get better
