Strategic Customer Profitability Senior Manager
One of Australia's largest banking organisations is seeking an experienced strategy-focussed candidate to lead a team responsible for providing key customer profitability initiatives to drive business outcomes. The chance to drive and implement strategic direction and improve the detailed knowledge of customer segments and future profitability initiatives represents an outstanding position within this rapidly expanding area of the bank.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Disseminating and enhancing customer profitability methodology
- Contributing to the development and execution of an annual roadmap to embed customer profitability across systems, processes and people, consistent with the agreed target state
- Identifying latent opportunities to realise profit uplifts across business units
- Working with key stakeholders to detail and embed business initiatives to translate opportunities to outcomes
- Leading change management initiatives required to embed customer profitability
- Supporting platform development, release management and Argus vendor management
- Driving portfolio profitability by using financial tools to make informed decisions
- Relentless pursuit of opportunities to realise inherent value in our portfolios
- Addressing capability gaps in product, process, marketing and service propositions
- Contributing to the overall strategic direction by highlighting opportunities to improve decision making and support allocation of resources (opex, capex and capital)
- Socialising and communicating a customer profitability roadmap
Key Requirements
- Currently working within a strategic capacity
- Ideally a professional service / management consulting background
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills and experience
- Understanding of modelling and concepts related to analytical analysis of data
- Current experience working within a similar sized organisation within Australia
