As one of the largest water distributor-retailers in Australia, this organisation has a workforce of over 1300 staff and offers a diverse range of career opportunities across its Planning Branch leading into 2012 and beyond.
To meet the opportunities of strong growth they urgently require a Strategic Planner to assist the planning team in their Brisbane office. Reporting to the DA Land Use Planning Manager you will have the opportunity to help shape your community by engaging and consulting with a range of stakeholders as the face of the organisation.
As the Strategic Planner you will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating and managing the organisations response to each Council's strategic land use plan. You will add depth to the Brisbane planning team with your strong experience at a strategic level in infrastructure planning. Working exposure to regional, metro and local planning, urban renewal, design, policy development and infrastructure coordination is also highly regarded.
A degree qualification in town planning or engineering is essential to your success. Demonstrated strategic, conceptual and analytical skills specifically related to planning, strategy, infrastructure and policy development is advantageous to your application. As a self motivated person you will use your exemplary communication skills to develop strong relationships with clients and consultants alike.
Currently open as a contract position, a permanent role can be created for you. On offer is a competitive hourly rate working in a productive work environment in central Brisbane to start now.
