Strategy and Propositions Manager – Commercial and Broker (London) (Maternity Cover) (00060743) recruitment

Exciting oppotunity for a proven Strategy and Propositions Manager to join our team covering Maternity Leave, helping to guide our business' direction.

 
Requirements:

Relevant senior market experience within either a forward thinking insurer or broker (ideally both)

Strategy and planning role within a blue chip, FTSE 250 company

Demonstrable thought leadership and senior stakeholder management skills

Excellent planner and executor

 

Responsibilities:

Solutions Development, including :

Start-up solution for NIG : Range of business partnership and support options (funding, compliance support, enhanced commission etc) to deliver the NIG strategy of identifying and supporting new and emerging broker businesses

Small book solution for NIG : Define the opportunity and then build and roll out a solution for brokers with marginally profitable books of high volume, low premium / fee business. Likely to result in a series of transactions.

Specialism solution approach for BIS and NIG : Define and build tailored consumer solutions for target brokers with access to market areas aligned with RBS bank specialisms

Strategy and Planning, including :

Management of the NIG strategy and change agenda

Delivery of Exec level strategy presentations to support ongoing stakeholder management across RBSI and RBSG

Lead strategy input into budgeting and forecasting process to ensure strategy and planning integrated into forecasting

 
Work with regional sales and underwriting teams to build detailed bottom up view of broker market, product penetration and opportunity etc

Broker proposition development, including :

Development and delivery of NIG First broker club concept for target partner brokers

Ongoing refreshes for our core specialist products including motor trade, agriculture and property owners
