Strategy, Planning and Performance Marketing Manager
This large consumer services business has a stated corporate aim of putting the customer at the heart of everything they do. As a data driven customer centric organisation with multiple service offerings there is high level of complexity in delivering relevant marketing messages to new and existing customers. To this end, the role of Planning Performance Marketing Manager has been created to take a strategic view across the whole portfolio ensuring a ROI is achieved through a great customer experience and high impact spend of the AP budget.
The main areas of focus include:
- Leading the overall operational planning process for marketing
- Development of the consumer marketing strategy and development of initiatives to improve delivery of campaigns
- Collaboratively building the budget and managing the AP spend and OPEX budgets
- Working with key divisional heads to provide advice and learning's on best practise for campaign delivery and high impact message driven from analytical insights
This is an influential and visible role within the business. It's a key stakeholder ensuring the strategic objectives are met and that best practise initiatives are shared across the business. Success here will have a direct impact on customer experience, churn and commercially ensure the multimillion dollar marketing spend is used effectively. Expressions of interest are therefore sought from candidates with the following profile:
- Experience of working at a strategic level in a customer, CRM driven marketing environment
- This could include a background in consulting, financial services, telecommunications or other industries with a one to one relationship with the customer
- In depth knowledge of end to end campaign management across multiple channels
- Exposure to customer lifecycle and value proposition development
- Commercial and analytical skills applied in measuring campaign effectiveness and in the management of large budgets.
Most of all, the key to success will be a vibrant outgoing personality that builds strong internal relationships. Candidates will know how to get their voice heard without direct authority and will enjoy playing the influencer role.
