Structured Trade finance Sales VP, Agricultural commodities recruitment

Responsibilities

1.      Sell and deliver structured trade finance solutions to Asian importers.  Work with the Global Banking Offices/Structured Trade Finance Officers and GB Asia Relationship Managers to identify target customers, deliver customer pitches, conclude sales and oversee customer implementation.  Maintain an updated list of targets and develop a strategic approach to winning the business

2.      Develop strong advisory relationships with existing clients with the potential to generate repetitive transactions

3.      Act as a resource for product expertise to the Global Banking Asia, Global Trade Services, and other banking partners on structured trade finance products

4.      Build and maintain a highly professional level of industry knowledge on structured trade finance programs

5.      Contribute to local trade associations and seek high returns on the investment in time and effort made 

6.      Provide input into Global Banking’s Asia growth plans/strategy

Qualifications 

1.      8+ years experience working in a sales/structuring trade finance role. 

2.      Experience in structuring, documenting and closing trade finance facilities with corporate clients. Complex negotiation. Credit and risk analysis experience. 

3.      Strong knowledge of Export Credit Agency programs specifically US EXIM bank, Private credit Insurance, Asia Development Bank etc.

4.      Understanding of cross border lending structures and the associated risks. Experience preparing deal memos outlining recommended structures; 

5.      Existing relationships with large Asian buyers

6.      Strong collaboration skills, experience working with co-workers and clients in multiple geographies and time zones.

7.      Energized by the opportunity to lead the growth and development of structured trade finance business;

8.      Driven and highly motivated to deliver outstanding performance;

9.      Possesses strong business development and client relationship management skills;

10.  Familiar with trade and trade finance products and how our customers use them;

11.  A team player with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
