Systems Accountant
Our client, a major service provider within the financial service sector, are looking for a Systems Accountant to take responsibility for the application support and the systems administration of the Oracle 12 E Business Suite.
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrated ledger system is balanced, in order to maintain the integrity of the financial records. Alongside this, you will be responsible for all aspects of the systems housekeeping.
This will includes setting up and maintaining the accounts on the system, completing all necessary month and year end roll over procedures, setting up and maintaining users in the system and advising the Head of Financial Systems Support of any areas of concern. You will use Toad/SQL to run database interrogation queries to be able to provide issue resolution and supply appropriate solutions.
You will have strong functional knowledge of the core financial in Oracle R12, with detailed knowledge of the P2P, R2R and O2C and associated reconciliation processes. In depth knowledge or Multi Org Access Control and understanding of Role Based Access Control is also imperative.
You must have the relevant financial and technical experience within the Financial Functions of Oracle R12 and a good working knowledge of SQL. Proven experience if analysing and configuring Oracle Financials and experience of the account principles and business processes commonly found within a larger organisation is also required.
