Description
The Central Business Support Team (CBS) sits within the Monitoring Department as part of BNY Mellon Trust Depositary (UK) Limited. The CBS Team look after all aspects of Depositary investment monitoring oversight for a large number of cross-jurisdictional Unit Trusts, OEICS and AiFMD investment vehicles. Regulatory and fund specific investment restrictions are required to be monitored to ensure adherence with the provision of regular client reporting and value-added services. The key role objectives for the candidate will include: Ensuring that each Depositary jurisdiction is compliant with all investment monitoring requirements.Assessing and implementing the appropriate Investment and Borrowing rules in Charles River and other in-house investment borrowing power systems for multi-jurisdictional Depositaries. Assisting with the pursuance of new markets and product opportunities that emerge Analysing, synergising, coding and testing cross-jurisdictional regulatory and prospectus investment and borrowing power rules within the Charles River Investment Monitoring System (CRIMS) and other in-house investment borrowing power systems Analysing and documenting requirements for the processing of Investment and Borrowing Powers checks by the Charles River Investment Monitoring System and other in-house investment borrowing power systems Investment Breach lifecycle management Key Performance/Risk Indicator Reporting Assist in resolving queries/technical issues when required Performing gap analysis and propose solutions Creation and execution of test plans Liaising with other analysts as appropriate Liaising with 3rd party vendors as appropriate Ensuring that quality assurance standards and SLA s are met Providing on-going support to department leaders and managers
Qualifications
Degree Calibre (or equivalent experience).
Investment Monitoring or similar Background.
Similar role experience or Charles River Exposure preferred.
German/Dutch/French adventageous.
