BASIC FUNCTION
The Individual assumes responsibility for the daily work of the wage group in the Test Lab and the day to day operations of the Engineering Test Lab.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs Wage Employees in the performance testing based on applicable ARI standards and Engineering Group requirements.
- Assists to manage the day to day operations, including labor reporting and transactions, maintenance program, 5S and organization and any step one union issues that might arise.
- Assist in planning of loading/unloading of Industrial HVAC equipment etc.
- Supervises installation, setup and running of Industrial HVAC equipment on department test facilities.
- Performs approval of time sheets.
- Maintains tool and supply inventory.
- Works modified 2nd shift schedule, this schedule will modified as necessary to cover off shift hours as necessary.
- Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
This position prefers an Associate's Degree in Applied Science or a minimum of five (5) years of previous experience in management within the Heavy Industrial HVAC Industry. Candidate must be self-motivated and be available to work extended shifts and weekend hours when required.
