Technical Recruiting Manager Job in Kansas City, Kansas US
Our Client is a leading global provider of Software and Software Solutions. They now have a NEW and exciting opportunity for a technology-focused Technical Recruiting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a localized recruitment strategy for the client group to meet the need of current and future roles they are working on, ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and speed.
- Responsible for owning the day to day recruitment for identified client group and managing the relationships with hiring managers and interview panel.
- Take briefings and aid hiring managers to write job descriptions where needed, setting and managing their expectations regarding timescales and offering advice on the current market place.
- Generation and management of a strong candidate pipeline through creative resourcing for specific vacancies and effectively utilizing the systems available.
- Management of third party suppliers for designated roles including agencies, business schools, referrals.
- Conducting screening on all external candidates for specific designated roles, covering CV review, telephone interviewing, and initial competency based face to face interviews.
- Tracking candidate applications.
- Facilitating, in a timely manner, feedback sessions for interviewing panel.
- Candidate management (giving timely feedback directly to the candidate or to the agency, managing candidate’s expectations through the process).
- Working with remote hiring managers and recruitment teams in the U.S.
- Must be comfortable recruiting technical people including Systems Analysts, Developers, DBAs, Software Architects, and Implementation Consultants.
Requirements:
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience
- Expertise in recruiting a variety of roles and disciplines.
- Onsite/corporate/in-house recruitment experience.
- Expertise in candidate management and client relationship management.
- Experience of dealing with third party suppliers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to solve problems independently and deliver results in an ever-changing and fast environment.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize based on the needs of the business
- Flexibility to work with partners across business units and different time zones
- Ability to quickly grow relationships with hiring managers and recruitment team
- Experience working in an agency in a contingent recruitment role.
