Trading Application Support Manager – Asset Management Electronic FX Trading – FX /Trader/ Charles River / Virtu (vendor) / Settlements/ Execution / Low

My client is Global Asset Manger who is based in the city of London. They are looking to hire an experienced Trading Application Support Manager with extensive experience working with Traders on a day-to-day basis.

 

 The Trading Application Support Manager provides tactical day-to-day and assists with strategic support for technology-related initiatives for one or more moderately complex business units.

 

The Trading Application Support Manager develops and manages multiple client relationships at a middle management level and above within the business unit to ensure client satisfaction and the development of efficient business systems. The Trading Application Support Manager may attend business staff and strategy meetings. Trading Application Support Manager also manages a staff of IT professionals, acts as a liaison between business units and IT and interacts with Help Desk Managers on problem escalation – proven experience is highly favorable.  

 

The Trading Application Support Manager will have Minimum 7-9 years of technical and/or management and they must have thorough knowledge of company's total computing environment, including daily operations, major roles, business impact, and understand the impact of hardware and software transitions on the environment. Trading Application Support Manager must be customer-service oriented and have prior lead experience defining and implementing service-improvement initiatives for a major client. The IT Relationship Manager must also have strong negotiation and arbitration skills and be able to effectively handle difficult people and high-risk situations.
