UK HR Business Partner (Maternity Cover) recruitment
Job Purpose:
Work as a member of the UK HRBP team to deliver the HR processes and procedures that will support the UK business strategy. The role will support Finance and Microfinance.
Job Background / Context:
The UK business covers both Citicorp and Citi Holdings. With approximately 11,000 employees in the UK located in Belfast, Edinburgh, Derby, Jersey and London.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing managers with guidance on company policy: interpretation and application- including employment law guidance- including update briefings as required.
- Counselling managers on employee related issues eg performance management, succession planning, flexible work requests, absence management, maternity.
- Providing employee counselling and guidance on employment issues as appropriate.
- Provide employees with Company policy advice and information as required.
- Partnering with Resourcing delivery partners in contract negotiation discussions.
- Actively participating in the UK component of the year end compensation process in conjunction with the Compensation team.
- Working with Compensation team to provide UK business managers with compensation analysis and reports.
- Work with Resourcing delivery partners to meet UK hiring requirements.
- Working with UK managers and L and D partners to compile documentation for inclusion in the Global Talent process.
- Actively working together with ER specialists to resolve employee relations issues.
- Working with the business to deliver restructuring programmes in the UK.
- Work with the UK business managers to implement VOE and subsequent action planning.
- Work with L and D partners as necessary on coaching, training plans for UK employees.· Providing UK input to key HR processes e.g. Talent and other ad hoc projects.
- Providing support and cover across the UK HR BP team as required i.e. holiday cover or to work on an initiative/project.

Skills

- Relevant HR experience in key responsibility areas ie Compensation, ER
