Description:
Job Summary: Assist in the preparation of appraisal reports. Researches and provides validating information to clients as it relates to the appraisal assignment.

Essential Job duties and responsibilities include the following:

Assists in preparing detailed appraisal reports by coordinating with a Sr. Real Estate Analyst/Managing Director.

Prepares and completes analysis and research for properties assigned into a full appraisal report. (To be reviewed by Sr. Real Estate Analyst/Managing Director)

Utilizes Argus (cash flow software) and other databases to compile data for appraisal report.

Assists in examining and analyzing income producing properties writing an analysis based on market comparisons.

Researches market area and analyses current transactions and how they compare to the subject property.

Assists in making comparison analysis based on sales of similar properties.

Analyses of past revenue performance trending it forward.

Other duties may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Coordinates the work to be completed but is not responsible for formal supervision of employees.

Qualifications:
MUST have 1-2 years of commercial valuation experience.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training.

Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively respond to complex inquires or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisors, and/or management. Ability to present information to individuals as required.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

Other Skills and/or Duties

Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
