VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTOR RELATIONS recruitment
Candidates should ideally have relevant experience in private equity, hedge fund, or investment banking and be keen to take on an integral role in an entrepreneurial firm.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and outstanding academic record
- 7+ Years experience in a financial institution (private equity, hedge fund, fund-of-fund, or investment bank), preferably in financial reporting or investor relations
- Excellent writing skills, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and articulate financial data
- Composed, poised and discrete in nature
- Must be comfortable working with senior management and have ability to develop relationships throughout the organization, both as a team member and as a leader
- Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
- Strong and effective decision making skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task in a very fast-paced and demanding environment
- Prior managerial experience preferred
- Hard work-ethic
- Interest or knowledge of real estate is an advantage
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word 2007 skills and graphical design skills
- Travel to investor events as required
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the day-to-day functions of the Investor Relations Dept, including overseeing:
- Responses to investor requests
- RFP/DDQ process
- Investor site tours and office visits
- Investor website
- Tracking the distribution of marketing materials
- Preparing analysis and reporting for internal management
- Evaluate and streamline current processes, including:
- Communications between the sales-team and investor relations
- Communications between various groups within the organization (legal/compliance, financial reporting, investments, etc.)
- CRM application (salesforce.com)
- Investor website
- Help to create and launch marketing campaigns on new product offerings, including:
- Draft investor questionnaires, flipbooks, private placement memorandums, and investor memos
- Manage the presentation materials and coordination of annual and periodic investor meetings
- Work closely with head of investor relations, founders of CIM and other principals on investor coverage
- Other ad hoc projects
