Vice President, Natural Resources Credit

This role sits within the Wholesale Credit Risk Team which works with business units to independently quantify the appropriate level of risk by applying appropriate governance and control to ensure the right decisions are made using accurate calculation, assessment and recording of exposure and risk.

The role will involve corporate credit analysis and preparation, presentation and recommendation of credit proposals to relevant sanctioning level. The role will also involve ongoing monitoring and review of credit exposures.

Within this role, you will be responsible for undertaking credit analysis and recommending exposure policies within acceptable risk parameters for a portfolio of clients within the Natural Resources space (primarily Mining Metals, Commodity Traders, Oil Gas, Chemicals and Pulp Paper).

The responsibilities will include recommendation of limits/reviews to higher sanctioning authorities/ committees, monitoring of an allocated portfolio and industries for material developments affecting credit quality and the initiation of appropriate action.

You need to be able to demonstrate good commercial experience working within Credit, preferably in an international investment banking environment. Strong candidates with different backgrounds would be considered, however, experience in the Natural Resources space essential.
