VP/D Level
A leading investment bank that is in the process of building out a new front office risk and control function is looking to hire a VP/D level candidate to help the development of the function in the region. They are looking to hire a candidate with a strong awareness of the control environment across the complete lifecycle of the trade.
The role will form part of a team of 8 in London that will be part of team of circa 30 people globally. The team is centrally located in the front office and ultimately reports up to the head of Markets. They are split into 3 skillsets including Policy, Front-to Back Risk and Control Testing but all operate together as a non-siloed team. The team has ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the front office implements it’s own incredibly tight control and business risk environment.
They are looking for a candidate that currently has significant front-office interaction in a role with a strong understanding of controls from either a business management, operational risk, compliance, internal audit or product control background. You will also need the communication skills for a front-office role where you will not have large amounts of headcount but instead will be in a highly visible role requiring significant gravitas to succeed.
Furthermore they are open to candidates currently based in London that might be interssted in forming part of the team in Asia.
