RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in HTML coding modifications to routine website maintenance requests using (either hand coding or use of Dreamweaver or other Web editor)
- Perform continual quality checks of all the web sites by debugging HTML and CSS to solve presentation discrepancies across browser platforms.
- Ability to convert raw copy content into WCAG 2.0 complaint web content
- Ability to clean up Microsoft-generated HTML into clean WCAG 2.0 compliant web content
- Ability to create table-less wireframes and layouts using DIV placements and CSS
- Perform thorough Quality Control of content prior to live launch
- Contribute to in-house design and functionality solutions for site revision
- Working with non-technical staff to develop sound use cases for new projects
- Creating prototypes (mock-ups) and/or test sites for projects, as needed
- Communicate with coworkers to understand usability constraints and trade-offs
- Collaborate closely with Web Development Team to develop GUIs for websites.
- Collaborate with content producers to design monthly newsletters for both print and screen distribution
- Meet all deadlines set up Web Manager Team Lead
- Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates to the team lead about the time required to complete the any given task
- Think creatively and collaborate with the team to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Develop professionally designed websites with innovative and creative designs.
- Understand website design color pallets, thematic design and content placement.
Required Experience/Skills:
•BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•Proficiency with section 508, WCAG 2.0
•High competency level in HTML, JavaScript and CSS 3.0
•Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-design (Adobe Creative Suites)
•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate well to team members, management and clients who are at different business and technical knowledge levels.
