Account Manager recruitment

We are currently recruiting for a permanent Account Manager to work in South West London for our client which is a leading Insurance firm.

The Account Manager will work closely with the Sector Product Manager on the strategic development of the sector to monitor and increase new business and renewals income within the sector, with accountability for achieving and exceeding budgets. You will also work closely with the company contact centres to drive sales performance on inbound and outbound campaigns and monitor and develop direct mail campaigns.

This is a great opportunity for somebody who would like the opportunity to work for a market leader and have the luxury of not having to commute into central London every day. You will have responsibility for analysing daily and monthly performance stats and highlight any deficits providing plans for changes required to turn performance around. Report monthly on new business and renewals against budget. You will take ownership of projects agreed with the Product Manager and chair internal project meetings with colleagues/other departments to ensure these are delivered. Develop and implement new schemes and products working closely with the underwriting department and take full account handling responsibility for a specific client account including but not limited to the following:
-Provide a contact for the client for day to day issues and take responsibility for resolving problems
-Co-ordinate the set up and ongoing operational management of new accounts and schemes
-Attend or manage external client meetings, give operational guidance, give presentations, present statistical reports, take minutes and give input into the meeting
