We are currently looking to hire a AML (Anti Money Laundering) Programme Manager who will oversee and act as AML/Sanctions SME and primary point of contact for IT related initiatives and issues or other AML/STP projects, in line with Policy requirements and the strategic objectives for CAML.

As an AML Programme Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- AML or Financial Crime Diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in specialist AML / Sanctions role within a financial services environment
- Previous experience in project management
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and implications of change made by the programme
- Responsible for managing and co-ordinating diverse range of projects and initiatives for various business areas
- Ability to develop solutions to complex operational and processing problems and making recommendations/influences at senior management level
- Experience of process improvement and testing of IT deliverables
As an AML Programme Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
- Overseeing Corruption AML's AML/STP Group wide programme
- Acting as the CAML AML/STP SME Senior Manager in the identification, planning, direction and delivery of central (CAML led) projects to meet strategy and objectives
- Assessing, establishing and monitoring the effectiveness of CAML initiatives and existing critical systems and controls
- Proactively assessing and highlighting issues across the AML Programme or with integrated critical AML/STP systems, to minimise risks that could adversely affect the achievement of strategic objectives or be damaging to Santander's corporate goals or image.
- Proactively developing and facilitating effective business relationships at all levels, including peers, senior managers and directors across the business to enable optimal personal and business effectiveness
- AML/STP specific Strategic Planning and implementation
- Programme management
- Managing Change and Continuous Business Improvement
Salary: over £50,000 + £6K car allowance and excellent benefits
