Assistant Back Office Manager – FX / Securities / Settlements – Dubai recruitment

You will have a broad range of experience across Treasury and Securities operations namely within FX:
 

Key Areas:

1. Process Improvement and Change Mgmt - (cash mgmt, settlements and reconciliations)
2. Project Management in Swift Implementation
3. Risk Management and Reporting – (process control, limits and errors review)
4. Business Analysis - (operations /back office workflows for FX in particular)
5. Team Management – (functional and project roles,)
6. Customer Relationship Management - (internal BU’s, private and corporate clients)

Responsibilities:
                                                    
1. Manage the securities operations function efficiently to enhance productivity  and efficiency  settlements and FX, MM and FX Options confirmations through  SWIFT Accord
2. Designing the operational workflows and controls
3. Streamline the brokerage activities to ensure integration and synchronization of all broker cash and custody accounts for liquidity and cash management.
4. Introduced and managed the Risk Self Assessment activity for Back office operations (generic as well as product/process specific).
5. Periodically performed process review exercises on back office functions to ensure that existing processes are in sync with the documented standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and new/revised processes are documented within agreed time frame.
6. Report, track and mitigate incidents on operational gaps and errors within agreed timelines with Audit and Risk Management Division including Head of Operations.
