Your new duties and responsibilities
Global Automotive is a fast growing global business of the Allianz group focusing on the collaboration with car manufacturers across the globe. After reorganizing our business in 2010/2011, our primary goal is to ensure profitable growth in key regions globally. Therefore, we are looking for talented and highly motivated professionals to work in a dynamic team of international experts.
- Encouraging the development of existing and establishing new partnerships with car manufacturers or with assigned country OEs (operating entities) in the international arena
- Developing concepts (in particular on products, processes, risk carriers) for international automotive insurance offerings via the distribution networks of the car manufacturers
- Establishing and enhancing knowledge on products, developments and trends of the major automotive and insurance markets
- Coordinating and supporting local Allianz units as well as automobile manufacturers in the development and expansion of joint cooperations with regard to new products and / or new markets – thus ensuring know-how transfer
- Serving as general partner of the local OEs or the car manufacturer on all topics related to Global Automotive including promotion of best practice sharing
- Perspective: coordinating / managing a local footprint
Required qualifications and experience
Qualification
- University degree, ideally in an international context
- Languages: fluent English, a second language (especially French or Spanish) would be an asset
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint desirable
Experience Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive / automobile manufacturers, captive finance services, project management and / or sales as well as international experience desired
- Experience in managing strategic projects (together with the client / customer) desired
- Very good understanding of the internal decision-making processes within the car manufacturers / captive finance units desired
- Detailed knowledge of the European automotive and insurance markets
- Good knowledge of the automotive value chain, as well as in motor insurance and warranty
- Proven experience in the preparation of business cases and modelling of business models
- Negotiation and influencing skills across different hierarchical levels
- Practically proven cross-cultural experience and expertise
- Willingness to make regular business trips, especially to European countries
