Compliance Analyst recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development, communication and implementation of Compliance Procedures. • Undertake Compliance monitoring activities as stipulated in the monitoring programme and as required under the FSA rules. • Pro-active research, identification and assessment of changes in Compliance regulation and implementation thereof. • Prepare briefs and updates on emerging regulation. • Undertake reviews / assessments of compliance breaches. • Prepare and deliver quarterly awareness training on regulatory matters. • Responsible for the control and monitoring of the branch’s internal Operational Procedure Manuals. • Actively seek to improve personal development and to expand knowledge of business processes to further contribute to the Branch’s objectives and goals. • Perform Secretarial for the Compliance and AML Committee • Prepare quarterly updates to Head Office on Compliance plan. • Ensure all compliance policies and procedures remain current at all times. • In the absence of the Head of Department, approve adverts/promotions and maintains the advertising/promotions register. 

The successful candidate will have:       

• An understanding of Bank policies and procedures. • An understanding of all banking/investment products transacted by the branch. • An understanding of current legislation and guidance on meeting regulatory requirements. • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of Accuracy • Computer Skills
