Senior Credit Trainer, Asian Corporate Bank recruitment

Due to a healthy growth in their Corporate Banking business, our client is setting up a new Regional Credit Training function based in Singapore. We are seeking a Senior Managerial level candidate in the capacity of a Credit Trainer to be based locally but responsible for the training needs on their internal credit policies, regulations on a regional basis.

The candidate can expect to be responsible for strategising and formulating the training needs on credit within the Corporate Bank and also provide stand up training sessions to the bankers and credit analysts regionally on any new internal policy changes, rules or regulations and/or best practices relating to credit within the Corporate Bank.

You will prepare and customise the materials used for the physical and online training sessions and be able to collaborate with the regional credit divisions on ensuring that you stay at the forefront of the new regulations or guidelines.

We are seeking candidates with strong communication skills and ideally have experience in conducting knowledge sharing sessions or stand up training sessions internally on credit topics. You should ideally also possess at least 8-10 years of experience as a Credit Approver/Reviewer with another large Corporate Bank in the Asian region. You should also enjoy meeting,interacting and educating internal staff.

Experience as a trainer is not a must although will be highly advantageous. Candidates with an outgoing and gregarious personality will be considered too.

Travelling within the region will be expected for this role.
