Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager - London Retail Bank
A leading retail bank inLondonis seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to add to the strength of the Compliance Department in a role that will encompass strategy, planning, compliance expertise and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a group of high calibre managers to perform at their best by setting objectives that are closely aligned to the Compliance plan and coaching and developing them.
- Enhance the compliance culture across the organisation by managing effective relationships with business areas and stakeholders at every level.
- Manage relationships with regulators and other external organisations alongside the Compliance Director and other senior compliance managers; you'll work on developing them and building new ones.
- Provide technical guidance, support and tailored feedback on regulatory issues to both the business and compliance manager colleagues so that new business proposals and existing processes, systems and controls comply with regulatory obligations.
Requirements:
- Broad in-depth technical compliance knowledge and a firm grasp of the application of FCA rules and guidance.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance regulatory risks with the needs of the business
- Compliance expertise who's keen to be a role model for the team and an ambassador for the department.
- Working knowledge of key regulatory / consumer bodies such as:FSA,FLA, OFCOM etc
- Experience and qualifications in risk, accountancy or legal.
