An exciting opportunity within our Corporate Development Valuations Strategy team has become available for a Senior Analyst.
The Corporate Development team is responsible for strategic activities related to MA and corporate development within Optus Consumer Group. The team supports the formulation of strategy for the Group as part of the broader Consumer Strategy team that is responsible for delivering major strategic initiatives and developing the annual strategy and forecasts.
In this role, you will be responsible for analysing, identifying and developing new acquisitions and divestments for the Group, as well as post-acquisition integration and support.
You will enjoy being responsible for the day-to-day project management of potential MA transactions and post-transaction support. As a Senior Analyst financial analyst you will also be responsible for financial analysis, valuations, due diligence, providing contract negotiation support, post integration planning, strategy formulation and execution.In addition, you will also be involved with developing management and board presentations as well as providing opinions and recommendations to the team/management.
To be successful in securing this role; you will have proven experience working in a similar capacity within Investment Banking, Transaction Services or Corporate Development and have the ability to design and develop complex financial models under limited supervision. You will also have superb communications skills, can work well in extremely high pressure environments and deliver to tight deadlines.
An understanding of the Australian regulatory environment as it relates to voice, data and telecommunications as well as tertiary qualifications and Port-Graduate qualifications (such as CPA,CA, CFA or an MBA) will be highly regarded.
